This tab has the following components:
Name Shows the name of the LDAP Server.
Type Shows the type of object.
State Shows the current state of the LDAP server.
Last state change time Shows the date and time from which the LDAP server's state was last modified.
To change the state, click one of the following buttons in the tab:.
Activate Now Click this button to activate the LDAP server for immediate use. This setting changes the state of the LDAP server communications to READY.
Suspend Now Click this button to suspend the LDAP server and set the state of the LDAP server communications to SUSPENDED (maintenance mode). All connections to the LDAP server are closed and authentication with the LDAP server is no longer performed.
Refresh Now Click this button to reinitialize the LDAP user authentication. If the state of the LDAP server is SUSPENDED, then the state does not change. If the state of the LDAP server is READY or ACTIVE, then connections to the LDAP server are closed.
Comment Provides a place for you to type a text description of the LDAP server. For example, you could use this area to describe the LDAP server's purpose in the system.
