Creating a custom search scope

Use a custom search scope to narrow your search to the documents you specify.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this task.

 Task

  1. On the top left of the Help window, click Search Scope.

  2. Click Search Only The Following Topics.

  3. Click New.

  4. In the List Name field, type a name for your customized search scope.

  5. Expand the SQL Anywhere 16.0 topic list and select the topics for your customized search scope.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Click OK.

Results

A custom search scope is created.

Next

To re-enable searching for all topics or to select an alternate customized search scope, click Search Scope and click Search All Topics or select a customized search scope from the list.
