C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SQL Anywhere 16\Samples1
Windows Vista and later
C:\Users\Public\Documents\SQL Anywhere 16\Samples
Unix (single-user installations)
$SQLANY16/samples
1 When accessing the SQL Anywhere samples directory in Windows Explorer, the location is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents\SQL Anywhere 16/Samples. However, if you are accessing the SQL Anywhere samples directory at a command prompt, the path is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SQL Anywhere 16\Samples.
On Windows, the installer creates the SQLANYSAMP16 environment variable (it is stored in the Windows Registry). To open a
Windows Explorer window in the SQL Anywhere samples directory, click Start » Programs » SQL Anywhere 16 » Sample Applications And Projects.
On Unix, including Mac OS X, the sample_config script can be used to create a per-user copy of the SQL Anywhere samples. You must run this script to set the location of
the SQLANYSAMP16 environment variable in the operating system.
On Unix, the installer sets the SQLANYSAMP16 environment variable in the sa_config and sample_config scripts. This is useful for a multi-user installation. For single-user installations, the sa_config script sets SQLANYSAMP16
to $SQLANY16/samples.
