Associating Monitor users with resources

Associate a Monitor user with a resource if you want the user to receive email alerts about the resource. Only Monitor administrators and operators can receive email alerts about resources.

Prérequis

You must be a Monitor administrator.

Ensure that the Monitor is set up to send alert notifications by email.

 Task

  1. Log in to the Monitor.

  2. Click Tools » Administration, and then click Users.

  3. Select a Monitor administrator or operator and ensure that the user has an email address specified in their user account.

  4. Click Email Alert Notification Settings.

  5. Use the Add and Remove buttons to associate the user with resources. When you are finished, click OK.

Résultat

The user receives email alerts about the specified resources.
