Configuring blackouts

Blackouts are times when you do not want the Monitor to collect metrics. When a blackout completes, the Monitor reconnects to the resources to continue collecting data.

Prérequis

You must be a Monitor administrator.

Contexte et remarques

Blackouts occur in the local time of the resource.

 Task
  1. Log in to the Monitor.

  2. Click Tools » Administration.

  3. Click Resources.

  4. Click the resource, and then click Configure.

  5. Click Blackouts.

  6. Click New.

  7. In the New Blackout Period window, specify the date and time (24 hour clock) for the blackout.

    The time is local to the computer where the resource database, MobiLink server, or Relay Server farm resides.

  8. Click Save.

  9. Click Save.

  10. Click Close.

  11. Click Close.

Résultat

The blackout is configured.
