Restricting user creation to Monitor administrators

By default, anyone can create their own user name and password and have read-only access to the Monitor. You can turn off this feature so that only Monitor administrators can create users.

Prérequis

You must be a Monitor administrator.

 Task

  1. Log in to the Monitor.

  2. Click Tools » Administration.

  3. Click Configuration.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Click Options.

  6. Clear the Allow Anyone Read-only Access To The SQL Anywhere Monitor option.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Click Close.

Résultat

Only Monitor administrators can create users.
