Viewing the roles and privileges for a user or role (Sybase Central)

View the roles and privileges have been granted to users and to roles.

Prérequis

You must have the PUBLIC role.

 Task

  1. In Sybase Central, use the SQL Anywhere 16 plug-in to connect to the database.

  2. Option Action

    View the roles and privileges for a user

    1. In the left pane, click Users.

    2. Click the user you want to view.

    3. In the right pane, click Roles or System Privileges to view the user's roles and privileges, respectively.

    4. Optionally, select Show Inherited to include inherited roles and privileges.

    View the roles and privileges for a role

    1. In the left pane, click Roles.

    2. Click the role you want to view.

    3. In the right pane, click Roles or System Privileges to view the roles and privileges, respectively.

    4. Optionally, select Show Inherited to include inherited roles and privileges.

Résultat

The right pane displays the roles and privileges that have been granted to, or inherited by, the specified user or role.
