Revoking PUBLISH privilege

Revoke the PUBLISH privilege from a user.

Prérequis

You must have the SYS_REPLICATION_ADMIN_ROLE system role.

Contexte et remarques

Caution

Changing the publisher at a remote database or at the consolidated database can cause serious problems for any subscriptions that the database is involved in, including the loss of information. See Changes to avoid on a running system.

 Task

  1. In Sybase Central, use the SQL Anywhere 16 plug-in to connect to the database.

  2. Double-click the database name.

  3. Double-click Users.

  4. Right-click the user name.

  5. Click Revoke Publisher.

Résultat

The user no longer has PUBLISH privilege.
